Professional Certification and Training:

JEM-CLEAN, Inc. is an  IICRC Certified Firm.  All our technicians are IICRC certified or in the process of earning certification. The IICRC is the only independent organization recognized by the floor covering industry that trains, educates and sets standards of proficiency for carpet cleaners. Individuals must attend training classes, pass certification exams and attend continuing education credit seminars to earn and maintain certification. Certified firms are required to have personnel trained and certified for each service they offer and to uphold professional business standards and ethics. The Carpet and Rug Institute, CRI, is an independent research organization that test and certifies carpet cleaning equipment and materials for the flooring manufacturing industry. These standards are now being used by the manufactures like Shaw Industries, to set warranty requirements for their products. Shaw Industries, the world’s largest carpet manufacturer, has stated that beginning with products sold in 2007, Use of individuals or firms not Certified by the IICRC and not using CRI Certified equipment, will void the warranties offered by the manufacturer.  JEM-CLEAN, Inc. equipment is CRI certified Gold, (the highest standard). Being in this position helps JEM-CLEAN, Inc. protect the warranties of our clients’ carpets.
